Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Kilimanjaro Airport, followed by an overnight stay in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the days ahead. The next morning, your safari begins with a visit to Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive Baobab trees and large herds of elephants. It’s a photographer’s paradise, with sweeping vistas and abundant wildlife.
Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
- Drive time: ~2 hours from Arusha
- Highlights:
- Large elephant herds
- Ancient baobab trees
- Tarangire River as a wildlife magnet during dry season
- Activities:
- Game drive
- Optional: Walking safari (if staying in a private concession)
- Overnight: Lodge/tented camp inside or near the park
Day 2: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
- Drive time: 5–6 hours via Ngorongoro highlands (or fly from Manyara to Serengeti)
- Highlights:
- Iconic savannahs of the Serengeti
- Prime area for the Great Migration (check seasonal locations)
- Activities:
- Afternoon game drive
- Overnight: Tented camp/lodge in Central Serengeti (Seronera area)
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
- Activities:
- Early morning and evening game drives
- Optional: Balloon safari at sunrise

- Wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants
- Overnight: Continue at same Serengeti camp
Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
